WHAT IS B.L.I.N.G.?
B.L.I.N.G. (Building Leaders In Innovative New Giving) engages youth leaders to invest in other youth.  Youth leaders give grant$ and work with youth-led projects to become powerful for San Francisco youth.  
B.L.I.N.G. is a program of the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) and is made possible with funding from the Department of Children Youth and Their Families (DCYF).

WHAT DOES THE B.L.I.N.G. INTERNSHIP LOOK LIKE?
Here's a sample of the things you do in BLING:

- Learn about social justice and issues young people in SF care about
- Learn about philanthropy and the process of giving grants
- Build solid teamwork with other BLING members
- Build leadership & advocacy skills
- Help other young people gain the skills to apply for grants to fund their dreams.
- Outreach to get the word out about our grants
- Review applications
- Interview people who apply
- Make decisions as a group on who gets the grant
- Support the implementation of the youth-led projects
