No two students are alike, and neither are the ways that they experience high school. Students have different classes, interests, and activities that are as individual as they are. The Ohio Department of Education recognizes that a "one size fits all" pathway to graduation leaves a lot of students out.

Now, students can take a variety of classes and courses to fit their graduation plans, and instead of a series of tests, they may show competency and preparedness for life beyond high school in other ways.
