Be part of our volunteer team to share your skills and expertise as we work together to provide holistic care and support for our community-based monastics.

Becoming an Aranya Volunteer: 
1. Open to those above 16 years of age.
2. Complete the form below.
3. Upon receiving your application, our Volunteer Manager will get in touch with you. 
4. All prospective volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Orientation Programme before the start. 

Here are some of the volunteer opportunities: 

Meal Dana: Offer meals to monastics who are recuperating in his/her vihara, or in a stay-in retreat and unable to cook or provide for himself/herself.

Vihara Improvement: Maintain a safe and hygienic living environment for monastics: Declutter, Repaint, Spring Cleaning, Relocation and Simple Repairs.

Metta Care: Conduct regular visits to monastics who are frail or living alone and check on their well-being and living conditions. 

Medical Kappiya: Accompany monastics for medical appointments, Relay instructions from healthcare team. 

Administration: Support the secretariat team by carrying out clerical tasks, data-entry and projects.

Events & Logistics: Support our merit-making events in areas such as ushering, kappiya, stage and programme duties, traffic control as well as setup.

护法志工报名程序

4. 所有志工都必须参加我们的志工迎新培训。


以下是一些志工服务的项目：
餐食供养：为僧侣送上餐食，尤其当他们在精舍康复休息或在禅修中无法烹饪或自备食物时，供养餐食。
精舍维修：为僧侣提供安全卫生的生活环境，包括清理杂物、粉刷、大扫除、搬迁和简单的维修工作。
慈心关怀：定期探访身体虚弱或独居的僧侣们，关注他们的身心健康和生活环境。
医护侍者：陪伴僧侣们赴医疗预约，传达医疗团队的指示。
行政工作：协助秘书处处理行政工作、数据输入等项目。
活动后勤：护持各项种福田活动，职责包括：引座、侍者、舞台和节目、交通控制和场地布置。
