In anticipation for the students returning on campus, we are changing the process for students devices to connect to the school wifi system. Each student is allowed to connect only one device (Not a cellphone) to the school wifi.  The device won't have to log on after registration, it will automatically connect to the wifi when you select "ARHS Campus" or "ARHS Campus 5Ghz". Please provide us with your device's "wifi mac address". Below are the instructions on how to obtain the information for your device so it can be added to our network for the feature to work.

iPad/iPad OS

1.) Go to Settings

2.) Go to General

3.) Go to About

4.) Go to "Wi-Fi Address"

Mac OS X

1.) Open System Preferences

2.) Select Network

3.) In the left-hand pane, select the name of the network to which you are currently connected

4.) Click Advanced in the lower right corner

5.) At the bottom of the windows, the device's MAC address will be listed next to "Wi-Fi address"


Windows 10

1.) Right-click on the Start/Windows button, search and select "Command Prompt" from the menu

2. ) Type in "ipconfig /all" and press Enter. Your network configurations will display

Scroll down to your wifi network adapter and look for the values next to "Physical Address," which is your MAC address, which is also the "Wi-Fi address"

Chromebook

Find your MAC address or IP address
Some administrators restrict network access to prevent outsiders from seeing private information on the network. To use the network, you might need to give your Chromebook's MAC or IP address to your administrator. To find the MAC or IP address:

If you haven't yet, sign in to your Chromebook.
At the bottom right, select the time.
Select the Wi-Fi network .
At the top of the box, select Information .
You'll see your Chromebook's IP address and IPv6 address. Your MAC address is labeled "Wi-Fi."
In the window that opens, the MAC address is the Hardware address.

The wifi/mac/hardware address should be in this format- XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
