Bid on Blue: A Night of Comedy with Trae Crowder

Persistence PAC is thrilled to bring you our Second Annual Bid on Blue Auction! The auction will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 6:00-9:30 PM at the VBC North Hall which will be even bigger and better than before with a fun-filled night of cocktails, a three-course dinner, and an auction full of incredible items-from exciting experiences and amazing art to spectacular services and phenomenal food. All auction items will be at the venue for viewing, including a handful of exclusive, premier items. 

And if you thought it couldn't get any better, you're in for a real treat: our 2022 Bid on Blue Auction will be emceed by none other than Trae Crowder, AKA the Liberal Redneck! Recently, Trae has earned national attention (or notoriety, depending on your viewpoint) for his "Liberal Redneck" series of viral videos. He has been performing his particular brand of Southern-fried intellectual comedy in the Southeast for the past six years and now tours nationally as part of the wellRED comedy tour. Trae will be performing two comedy sets throughout the event as well as helping out with our live auction. 

We will also be honoring Representative Laura Hall with our first-ever Persistence PAC Public Service Award, which will be presented to her by Senator Doug Jones! For those who know Rep. Hall, there is no question as to why she is so deserving of this award. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and steadfast public servant fighting for those in District 19, Madison County, and across the state of Alabama, which is why we hope you will join us at our Bid on Blue Auction to honor Representative Hall with this most-deserved award.

Individual tickets can be purchased for $85, and sponsorships are available starting at $250. All proceeds will go directly to candidates running for office in the State of Alabama, which is why it is incredibly vital that you bid generously on these items that we have curated from some wonderful artisans, businesses, and other charitable donors.

Together, with our combined efforts and a little Persistence, we can create a strong and steady support system to help attract, cultivate, and elect candidates for years to come, forever changing the landscape of politics in Alabama.

In the event that Persistence PAC, Trae Crowder, or the Von Braun Center are unable to move forward with the in-person event, your money will be refunded in full. If the in-person event goes forward as scheduled and you are unable to attend, you should consider your ticket purchase a donation to Persistence PAC and enjoy the online portion of the auction.
