Bermuda International Film Festival (BIFF) Student Workshop Scholarship Application
BIFF Academy will hold a film workshop in the mid term break, October 26 - 30 for up to 20 middle school students (ages 11 – 14) with an interest in film, creative writing, and/or art.  

Held at the BIFF offices in the Somers Building (15 Front Street) from 9am – 5pm, the workshop will teach students how to create a short film, with introductory cinematography, story boarding, and editing. The theme will have an environmental and/or social message.

Candidates must attend all sessions during the week as well as 2 Saturday afternoon sessions on October 17 and 23, that will allow them to get to know other participants and start creating their stories.

This application is for a cost-covered scholarship to attend the workshops. Selected participants must demonstrate a genuine interest and willingness to learn. Please be sure to complete the final section by submitting an expression of interest written independently by the applying student.
