The Ride
In the summer this year we will cycle from John O Groats to Lands End
The ride will start at the furthest north eastern point of the UK and will travel down to the furthest south western point, incorporating the most northerly and southerly points along the way.
The challenge will commence on the 7th July 2011 and we shall arrive in Lands End, Penzance on approximatly 24th July 2011 (All going to plan) , after averaging approximately 60 miles per day cycling along the roads of Scotland, England and Wales
Why are we doing it?
This challenge proves an excellent opportunity to take a journey of the UK, a journey of over 1000 miles in a bid to raise a target of approximatly £500 for the British Lung Foundation, a charity close us for personal reasons.
The trip will be entirely funded by us and as a result, all of the sponsorship raised during this challenge will go towards the British Lung Foundation and will in turn, help those throughout the UK who are in desperate need of the excellent work that the British Lung Foundation achieves with every penny raised.
