About this event

  • Event lasts 7 hours 30 minutes

The joint Abortion Talk and Doctors for Choice conference returns for its second year!

This time, we aim to break abortion siloes by centering our focus on abortion outside the clinic, locating abortion within broader feminist movements for autonomy, self-determination, and justice.

Expect panels on the solidarity between diverse, ongoing struggles for bodily autonomy (including the movements for sex workers' rights and trans rights); the grassroots feminist activism of 'abortion accompaniement'; and challenging stigma from an intersectional perspective.

Lunch and refreshments included in the price of the ticket. All income raised from the conference will go to Abortion Talk to help with its mission of destigmatising abortion, one conversation at a time. If you are able, please consider making a donation when buying your ticket.
