Booking essential via this form.
Coming out can involve coming out to yourself, family, friends, partners, employers and service providers.
If you would like to spend some time creatively reflecting on how 'out' you are, whilst exploring other reasons why you might want to stay 'in', we would love you to be a part of this group.
Over the course of 6 Wednesday evenings, discover new strategies to deal with your fears, meet others in similar situations and celebrate your triumphs in a confidential, relaxed, safe, LGBT affirmative space.
The information we ask for on this booking form is kept confidential to the group facilitators, and we use it to help us plan the group to ensure it addresses the issues people would find most helpful to explore. During the course, there is no expectation to share any information about yourself with others that doesn't feel comfortable or safe for you to do so.
For any questions or further information on this course, please contact Alison Wren via
alison@lgbthealth.org.uk or 0131 652 3283.
We do expect the course to be popular, and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We will also operate a reserve list should any last minute places become available through cancellation.
This workshop is provided as part of LGBT Headspace's mental wellbeing programme. LGBT Health & Wellbeing welcomes the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, intersex & asexual communities and allies. Our services and activities are for all people aged 16+. This includes those who are questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and those who do not use labels for either.
