- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2023My sister-in-law has seven cats and is always complaining about the amount of hair they leave behind. This Christmas we got her this book as a joke...I had NO IDEA that it's an ACTUAL craft book! There are lovely crafts to do, with complete instructions and photos, great ideas on how to use the cat hair, and she's looking forward to actually doing some of the crafts! So, I guess the joke gift is a joke on me, because she LOVES it!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2021I ordered this book to use as part of a white elephant gift exchange. I will also include some of the supplies that are needed to get crafting: cat hairbrush, dish soap, plastic wrap, sponge, felt, thread, felting needle, etc.
The book I ordered was used, so pay no attention to the minor flaws in my pictures.
I quickly scanned this book. The instructions are very easy to follow and seem to be thorough. There were some parts that were funny. I couldn't tell if that was from the translation from Japanese to English, or if that was intentional.
The instructions cover the steps from collecting the hair, cleaning it, and preparing it for use. There is also some interesting stuff on the difference between cat hair and sheep wool. The projects use very little cat hair. The puppet on the cover uses the most. The other projects require felt or clothing items. These crafts look fun and inspirational.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cat hair crafts... Creepy but oddly satisfying
I am not a cat fan at all. However, this book is so bloody cute. It creeps me out but it's so cute at the same time. If you are a cat lover and/or a crafter .... Man is this the book for you ! Didn't realize cat hair could be used to create things.
Bought to feed my best friend's addiction to cats and crafts. She loves the book. And as much as I am not a fan of cats, I have to admit this is definitely a beautiful find.
So go ahead and go collect that car hair ! Buy this book and Make a masterpiece sweetheart, I think the cat lover inside of you with definitely love every minute
( Apologies, I took no photos before I gifted it. I will see if she can send me one with one of her completed crafts from it. I will edit this post at a later date )

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesante, muchas ideas
