M1 Peer Pleasure Festival Theme
Poverty exists, but is often invisible. Are we aware of its presence in our lives – the low wage cleaner we brush past at lunchtime, the teenager who studies at the common corridor because home is a two-room flat shared with a family of five, the single mum who works two jobs yet struggles to put food on the table? Stories of individuals who overcome great odds to succeed may be inspiring, but does it make it fair? What is the face of poverty in Singapore? And after we see it, what do we do about it?
Join us as we imagine change together at the M1 Peer Pleasure Youth Theatre Festival.
