We are *this close* to ending Polio! Join Cal Rotaract and Rotary International in this final push to create a polio-free world.

In 1985, nearly 350,000 children were affected by polio every year, leaving tens of thousands paralyzed. It was then that Rotary International launched the PolioPlus campaign, with the aim of eliminating polio. Over the last 32 years, Rotarians have contributed nearly $1.7 billion and countless volunteer hours to vaccinate over 2 billion children. As a result of our efforts, so far in 2017 only a few dozen cases of polio were reported worldwide in only 4 countries.
Until every child becomes vaccinated, within 10 years we could see as many as 200,000 new cases of polio worldwide, which is why it is crucial that we administer the vaccination to as many children as possible and eradicate polio from this world once and for all. All the money that we raise through our End Polio Now campaign will go directly to Rotary International's Polio Plus Foundation and towards purchasing polio vaccinations to be distributed to children all over the world. $15 = 100 polio vaccinations.
