Wednesday July 22- Saturday July 25, 2015
Cost: $175-Scholarships available through the Friends of Jug Bay.

This environmental leadership focused trip is a 4 day (with 2 nights camping) canoeing expedition. The program gives adults a chance to practice leadership & teamwork skills as they navigate the river, measure water quality, camp by the riverside and prepare meals together. Paddlers enjoy a unique, on-the-water experience that features educational programming and builds a strong personal connection to the river and its natural resources. Paddlers will become immersed in Patuxent River issues and explore their role in solving them. We are capping registration at 12 participants to maintain a hands-on environment.

This program is for adults ages 21+ who are enthusiastic about the environment and capable of personal mobility/paddling at least 8mi per day on tidal water in a provided canoe, and tent camping. Novice paddlers are welcome if they feel they meet these requirements.
