* Set-up for Creators is on Monday, April 20 & Tuesday, April 21. An early admittance day for bloggers will take place on Wednesday, April 22. Pack-up must occur by midnight Tuesday, May 5. We will not return the the contents of the sims and trust creators to pick up any no copy items they have placed in their stores.

* We request that each Creator donate as many items as they can for sale in RFL vendors. The MINIMUM requirement is two NEW items. We encourage Creators to display four or more items in RFL vendors. This can be a combination of new items as well as historical favorites. Items displayed in RFL vendors donate 100% of their sale price to RFL. Fantasy Faire will provide RFL vendors to all of our merchants in a timely fashion before the April setup dates.

*We are asking each Creator to please donate one item to be used as a Hunt prize

* You will be invited into the * * Fantasy Faire - Backstage * * Group as a Creator which will give you build rights to set up your store once the sims are opened to Creators. If there are people in addition to you that need to be added to the group please contact FantasyFaire Resident with the names of the additional people.

* All content for this or any RFL event must be PG. No adult content allowed (although there is a special allowance for skins). If you wish to check any product please ask Elizabeth Tinsley for verification.

* To lower lag and improve visitors' experience, Creators must minimize script usage (i.e.: NO highly scripted items, NO temp-rezzers). Textures should not be of unreasonably high resolution. Our script load policy will be available on the FF blog as well as in notecard form for you to view.

* Prim limits are according to store size requested and excess prims will be returned.

* We expect every exhibitor and attendee to adhere to the standard Second Life Terms of Service. Our team will help you by monitoring sim performance throughout the Faire and aiding you in resolving any problems.

In order to accommodate the maximum number of merchants we need to limit stores to one per avatar. If you have multiple brands please consolidate your merchandise under one store for the Faire.

Sharing of stores is a benefit of Featured Stores and acceptable under the condition that the avatar who registers for a store understands s/he is responsible for ensuring that all individuals who are displaying in the store follow the participation guidelines.

This year's Fantasy Faire will include ten lavishly landscaped shopping sims created by some of the top designers in Second Life. We will have environments from the snowy northern plains where the Aura Borealis dances across the sky to sun-filled Mediterranean islands; from storybook villages to midnight gardens where cherry blossoms rain down in the soft glow of lantern light. Pirates may cross our paths as we venture into paper forests housing our oldest myths and legends tended lovingly by mystic librarians. And of course there will always be the occasional fantastical surprise. Below is a list of sim designers and sim descriptions, names are still evolving. We invite you to take a chance and come on an adventure with us, the destination of which may not yet be known but we promise, the journey will be amazing! You are welcome to select a designer who you would like to join or trust us to make the choice for you. Believe us, there are no bad seats for this extravaganza!

You will be given the chance to identify your top three choices for the designer of your sim. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Aurora (Beq Janus) – On a world plunged into ice age, men of science seek answers in the etheral shimmering of the planets energy field. Meanwhile the Mystics tell tales of the unweaver at whose feet they lay the blame for their ice-age, their hopes for salvation lie in legends of heroes, ancient tales of lands across the dimensions, their faith hangs on finding the lost knowledge that can bring forth the confluence. The two factions, poles apart in their beliefs are about come together as myth and machine meet beneath the Northern Lights.

SOLD OUT Wildehaven Marsh (Rynn Verwood) – Settled at the edge of a lake, the village was created centuries ago, as a safe haven for those who practiced magic. An air of abandonment floats over the town now, however don't be fooled, its magic is still much alive as one can see in the soft glows shining through the ivy covered windows.

Valacia (Mayah Parx) – A floating market town, a bustling trade hub where denizens of the Fairelands come to trade for even the most obscure of items. Dark & weatherbeaten, all matter of constructions crisscross the waters to keep this hodgepodge of shacks,stalls and barges afloat. Magical mysteries abound in this haven for traders and thieves alike.

Ichi-go Ichi-e (Sharni Azalee/Marcus Inkpen) – Let your imagination fly you to a land where anything is possible. Walk on water among pink clouds in this surreal landscape where large sakura flowers and other exotic flora tower over you in a beautiful dream forest of pinks and grays and fawn.

SOLD OUT Tangleshimmer Grove (Searlait Nitschke) – Deep in the heart of the wood is the secret place of Fairies. Golden light bathes the lush green as flowers dance and the early morning dew lays a glistening shimmer over the world.

Seven years, oh my! Fantasy Faire has become a tradition of the Relay for Life in Second Life fundraising season. Each year we have been blessed by the immense dedication and involvement of our creators, relying heavily on our merchants to use their own groups/networks to help us connect to an ever expanding audience. Our goal is to see the Faire continue to grow both in terms of attendance and money raised. This year we have two special events planned which we will ask your help on.
     As always we will have our week long silent auction. The success of this auction is a direct result of the generosity of our creators who donate wonderful, often limited edition or one of a kind, items for people to bid on. We will also have our live auction of Faire builds and unique items on the last day of the Faire. If you have something that you think would fit well in this category and want to participate please let us know.
     Taking its place on our regular bill of events, we will have another immersive story driven Hunt. Look for an adventure of hilarious proportions to tickle your fantasy funnybone as the Hunt takes you on an exploration through the shopping sims and delivers you on the threshold of a frozen wonderland yearning to thaw. We need you, our creators, to join us in making our Fantasy Faire Hunt an event of epic magnitude. To this end we are asking all of this year's participants to donate a new item as a Hunt prize.
     While neither of these are a requirement of participation, your donations are what magnify the success of these events. Please help us make this the most memorable in a chain of unforgettable Fantasy Faires by planning to participate in one, and hopefully both, of these special events.
     Finally, under the wonderful direction of Sonya Marmurek we will once again have an amazing team of bloggers invited to cover the Faire. To aid in this endeavor we are asking merchants who would like to share their creations, especially their RFL donations, with bloggers, to let us know ahead of time so we can make the process easier for everyone.
