How does ranked choice voting work? I asked the same thing... and then I wrote a song about it. Watch our mock-election music video with Fries, Handmaid's Tail, Doc, and The Pop Star as they face off for the win. I wrote this song in response to the 2020 U.S. Senate race in Maine where I am working with a group of activists (Flip 2020) to educate Mainers about RCV and flip the Senate away from Republican control. Some background on RCV: It's an electoral system that allows for fewer wasted votes and leads to a candidate actually winning a majority.
