With your help in previous GiveLocal campaigns, we purchased and are renovating the Goshen Village Marketplace & Residences. Built in the 1970's, this complex, a combination of 18 residential apartments and 6 commercial spaces, is in need of significant upgrade and renovation.
Volunteer members of the Goshen Housing Trust are busily at work making it somewhere that people will be happy to live, where businesses can thrive, and where people can gather in a safe inviting setting.
We are making these apartments available at affordable rents. Our residences are already serving the young and growing families that our town needs. They are serving seniors looking to stay in the town they love. They are providing homes for the workforce our community and local businesses depend upon.
In 2025, we are undertaking a major project to complete the renovation of the complex. This will include converting 4 apartments into accessible units suitable for seniors and those with physical disabilities. We will complete renovations and energy upgrades to all of the remaining units. We also plan to upgrade our water system and repave our parking lots and drives.
