  • Applications are due Wednesday, October 12 2011 by 5:00 PM. You will be contacted to arrange an interview time. Paper applications may also be submitted to Debbie Strong on the first floor of the Union's UOSA Conoco Leadership Wing, accessible from the Wendy's courtyard.

    Meetings will be held Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm and are mandatory. If you have any questions, please contact Ali Browning at (817) 716-1526 or abrowning@ou.edu.
  • Executive Team Member Descriptions

    Sponsorship Team
    The Sponsorship Team will work together to seek the monetary and in-kind donations that make Green Week possible. They will also develop and maintain a budget.

    Programming & Operations
    These executive team members will plan, organize, and oversee the operations of the programming events for Green Week. They will come up with fun and creative event ideas that will appeal to the student body, and will make sure that all programming events run smoothly and successfully during Green Week.

    Publicity and Design
    Members of the Publicity Team will aid the Publicity Chair in spreading the word about Green Week on campus through various campaigns, whether print, online, or otherwise. They will be responsible for the graphic design aspects of Green Week including the creation of the Green Week logo and the layout design of promotional materials. Design experience desired.

    Webmaster (Part of publicity team)
    The Webmaster will be responsible for designing and maintaining a comprehensive website for Green Week. If applying for this position, be sure to include any web design experience.

    Community Relations
    Members of the Community Relations team will be tasked with job of forming relationships with members of the OU community, including students groups, departments, faculty and staff, and more, as well as with businesses and organizations in the Norman community. They will be the face of Green Week.

    Greek Recycling Team
    This team will focus on the project of implementing and overseeing a recycling program for the Greek houses on the OU campus. Members of this team may liaise between the many groups involved, monitor recycling levels, organize pickup schedules, make presentations about the project, and more.
