The two foot gardener is a locally designed and manufactured self watering reservoir planter.
It's just the right size for a productive, successful gardening experience.

The two foot gardener compact size (2 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet) is perfect.
A successful garden requires sun, heat, moisture, nutrients and oxygen for the roots. The design of the two foot gardener allows this to happen - moisture and nutrients are provided as the plants need it and when they need it. When water migrates up from the reservoir base, soil does not become compacted; the oxygen isn't pushed out and nutrients remain in the soil for plant growth. The water reservoir (68 Litres) heats up during the day and helps maintain soil warmth at night extending our growing season. Plants have everything they need for healthy growth; you just need to place the planter where it will get sufficient sunlight.
Once plants are established, you only need to occasionally add water to the reservoir. Imagine having a well maintained garden when you return from holidays. Grow lush, incredible tasting herbs and veggies as well as an abundance of flowers.

The two foot gardener allows me to "farm" in the city. I can plant what I want and have fresh produce when I want it. Tomatoes, the holy grail of gardening have never been so easy or so
abundant. Even during the year of the flood - I had one tomato plant out on the deck and with all the weather mother nature threw at us, I still harvested over 32 pounds of tomatoes off of
one plant and no blossom rot (too much or too little water). The two foot gardener figures it out.
