Mission Statement of the School Library Program

The Harmony Leland Elementary School Learning Commons strives to promote the development of independent reading habits and information literacy skills. Our students will become critical readers who acquire, evaluate, and ethically use information. To facilitate this mission, we will provide available, flexible, and inviting learning spaces and access to updated digital and print resources that represent diversity.
