Ree Drummond once said, "I wouldn't want to live in a world without coffee! It's pretty much my life." She drinks anywhere from two to four cups a day, ranging from her perfect iced coffee to hot lattes. And since she lives on a ranch several miles from town, it should be no surprise that she has a pretty nice coffee bar setup in her own home.

We got a sneak peek of it during the recent tour of the new house she and Ladd built, and it's actually smartly located in her gorgeous new pantry. It's "where I feel happiest," she explains, so it makes sense to have access to her favorite beverage there, too! And then we finally got to see it in action with some hilarious results.

If you missed her recent social media post, The Pioneer Woman made a latte at home in just a few easy steps. She happens to have the splurge-worthy Breville Barista Touch that allows you to make a wide variety of coffee types including a custom latte she calls "Ree Ree." She promises that "my latte art is not the point of this video," and you'll understand why if you watch it until the very end.

Ree's method is very straight forward and will work regardless of what kind of espresso maker you have. First, you freshly grind your beans and then you brew your espresso. Be sure to admire your gorgeous mug from the new Painted Meadow dinnerware collection as you do so (which is optional of course, but very important). Next, warm and froth your milk. Then gently pour the milk into the espresso, creating pretty latte foam art at the top... or not. 😂

"I don't know what was expecting but I busted out laughing!" said one person in the comments.

"Did the coffee and milk exploding everywhere make me jump?" another chimed in. "Yes, yes it did. 😂 😂"

"Wait, I thought you made a cloud ☁️ 😂 😂," commented yet another viewer. "You always make me smile! 😊 ❤️"

Remember, the point of making a latte is to have a delicious caffeinated beverage, not necessarily make it pretty. Ree swears, "I think I'm getting a little better at it." Let's hope we get an update on her progress! And at least there's a new gorgeous mug to add to your PW collection.
