ABOUT THIS DROP-IN

Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.  

This FREE virtual drop-in will connect Black students in grades 7 - 12 to an experienced tutor for academic support with assignments and referrals to help families navigate remote learning.

Marvin is a software developer and computer science professional with over 7 years of teaching experience in a variety of STEM subjects. Born in South Africa, Marvin moved to Canada in 2008 and has always enjoyed helping Black youth and newcomers achieve their academic goals and feel more confident about their academic and social standing in the education system. Marvin always provides relatable examples of complicated, technical concepts so students can gain a deeper understanding.
