Since Shabbat starts so early (5:03 pm on Friday) and we can't be in person this year, we will come together online on Zoom to get ready for Shabbat with a Challah Braiding/Chanukah program on Thursday night for 8th-12th graders in the Greater Houston area.  We will start with Chanukah Candles (it's the first night of Chanukah) and then be ready to braid and decorate your challah dough with Instagram Influencer Rebekah Lowin.  Bake your challah after it rises a bit, and take a picture and post to get a special HJTGS prize!   Thank you to the Bagel Shop Bakery for providing free Challah dough kits to participants and thank you the Houston Jewish Community Foundation for funding support.  Please complete this form to register for this program and to receive the Zoom link.

The Bagel Shop Bakery is donating Challah dough kits for our program (HKA and MKT kosher certified).  You can make your own dough OR sign up for a free kit and pick up ready to use dough - just braid, let rise and bake!
