The Board of Trustees is looking forward to welcoming you to our AGM, and is excited to discuss what we hope will be a really bright future for the project.
Online AGM (as much as we can)
While the Board of Trustees is keen to meet with all members and we recognise that an in-person event would be preferable for many reasons, we have taken the decision that it is best to hold this year’s AGM online (as much as practically possible). This decision has been made in line with current guidance from the Government – bearing in mind both the new six-person limit on social gatherings, and the maximum safe capacity that the hall at Springbank can currently hold. In running the AGM virtually, we also hope to be able to include those who are clinically vulnerable or who would feel uncomfortable attending such a large event in-person.
We are asking each member who wishes to attend the AGM virtually to register their details on our eventbrite page first. You will then be sent a link / meeting event nearer the time to the email address you provide. Please can we ask that each member registers separately (even if, for example, two or more members live together and will be joining the meeting from the same device).
For those without digital access
As explained in our letter to members, the Board recognises that some members may not have digital access or may not be able to participate in this way. For these members, we intend on opening the hall at Springbank Community Resource Centre. If this applies to you, please get in touch (via telephone or post) with our Head Office at Hesters Way Community Resource Centre. But, as you will no doubt understand, there may be limits on how many we can safely accommodate in this way.
