H.Y.P.H.E.E. Mentee Application

H.Y.P.H.E.E. is designed to bring together high school seniors with current UC Berkeley students in order to provide guidance in completing the UC Application and/or CSU Application This is a month long commitment during which High School students are able to connect and receive one-on-one attention from a current college student. The program will take place on the UC Berkeley campus and transportation costs will be partially covered.

The program consists of:
Mandatory Orientation on Sunday, October 5th
Mandatory Attendance to Two Informational Workshops
Mandatory Attendance to Four of Six "Application Meetings"
Sunday, Oct. 12th
Sunday, Oct. 19th
Sunday, Oct. 26th
Sunday, Nov. 2nd
Sunday, Nov. 9th
Sunday, Nov. 16th

All meetings will take place at the UC Berkeley campus and will be held during the hours of 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You do not need to stay the full three hours; however, we do expect that you devote sufficient time as deemed necessary to your own application status.

I agree to treat my mentor with respect and be open-minded to constructive criticism.

I agree to attend the HYPHEE Orientation on Sunday, October 6th.

I agree to attend at least Four of the Six Raza Application Days.

I agree to attend at least two Informational Workshops.

I agree to fill out an evaluation form after completing the program.

I agree to finish and submit my UC and/or CSU application by November 30th.
