Synopsis
The concert will feature a selection of Steve Dobrogosz’s works for choir and piano, and will be accompanied by Dobrogrosz himself on piano.

Influenced by his classical training growing up in the US, along with decades composing for, and performing with, jazz and pop vocalists in the Swedish jazz and pop scene, Dobrogosz’s music occupies a unique space.  His works are original songs with strong pop and jazz elements that happened to be for choir and piano, and have a sound and sensibility that is neither “art music” nor “pop/jazz music”, and certainly unlike works of contemporary “classical music” composers.
