- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2011I had the advantage of seeing a special, early theater screening in Minneapolis at which Allen Wolf and David Austin answered questions after the show. They did a great job with the movie and were a lot of fun with their comments - a rare treat! No, I did not guess the ending, nor will most of you. I might add that I was a little worried about the theme including violence and... - well, let's not give it away, but I went with a group of friends (some with a low tolerance for unnecessary or extreme violence) and the main comments at dinner afterward were: "I always figure out the plot, but they got me this time - it sure kept me guessing." "Great movie - they handled it really well." and "When does a DVD come out?"
- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2013Over all I enjoyed the movie. It made me second guess myself a couple times. I like that.
The acting was well done with the exception of the female detective. It felt like this actress was trying too hard, and the bit with the nuts was just that...nuts. The only thing it lent to the character was an even deeper lack of believability
I also didn't understand the point of the father. That part just felt like filler. The movie would have worked without it.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2019Lacy Chabert was the reason I gave this movie one star. However I kept thinking they were going to make her the killer. This movie had far too may twist and turns. The greatest thing about the movie was that... well nothing! For some reason the sleepwalker had this quality that one wanted to feel sorry for him. The real killer was one I picked out early. But the scenes kept trying to make it like the best friend of the murdered victims husband did it. This story was jagged and had the main character running around all over the place. Lots of blood, sexuality and crazy cinematography. I did watch the entire movie and this is my honest review. This is a story of 3 friends. Two are married and the other is a male whore. He sleeps around and suffers from a sleep walking disorder. The wife winds up a victim of a crime and the following scenes depict an investigation and lots of scenes making the viewer think the best friend did it. New characters keep popping up, further complicating the story until finally the truth comes out and we get a chance to see the root of the sleep walking issue and the end of the story. It does leave the suggestion of a new relationship at the end but this guy needs lots of therapy. Not sure what the point is or if there is any redeemable qualities. Just a movie full of twisted plots and turns, music and screen shots. Hmmm. Not going to recommend this one. :(
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2018The movie is made in 2011 but feels like it's straight from 90s: music, scenes and dialogs. However, the plot keeps you engaged and you keep wanting to lean what is this all about.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2020I actually enjoyed this movie. Extreme sleepwalking is a pretty interesting concept, and I've never seen a movie that centers around the topic. The main character has a sleepwalking disorder and he's afraid he killed one of his best friends in his sleep. It was suspenseful enough to keep me guessing. I'd recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining and a good film of its type
Good film, it's a well acted whodunit type thriller which is genuinely suspenseful and keeps you guessing till the end. It follows a cinematic type of formula that was very popular in the nineties and seems a little clichéd nowadays, but is still highly entertaining. The pacing and plot twists are handled very well.
There's also the bonus that the lead actor is likeable and gorgeous looking and spends about 75% of the film in his underpants.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mittelmässige Handlung!
