They are designed to meet your career goals and leadership development needs whether you are an aspiring, new, or experienced leader. Faculty may be nominated or apply on their own. For Leadership Fundamentals and Faculty Administrator Orientation to Carolina, a brief letter support from the department chair, division director, or supervisor is part of the application.
New Call Announced for CFE/Lenovo Grants – Focus on Generative AI
The CFE/Lenovo Instructional Innovation Grants Program provides support for instructors using technology in innovative and impactful ways to further student learning. This year the program will focus on supporting efforts to better understand generative AI and its role in teaching and learning. Three categories of grants (Curricular Development, Communities of Practice, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) will be funded. Proposal due date has been extended to Monday, May 6th at 5pm. Generative AI Training Modules for Faculty Now Available!
We are excited to release the Generative AI Modules, a five-part professional development series focused on using generative AI for teaching, scholarship/research, and productivity, with an introduction by Provost Chris Clemens. The modules are asynchronous and can be accessed on demand by faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and course instructors. Each module includes interactive learning activities, resources, and video-based instruction.
