The Inverell Swap Meet: NO SWAP FOR 2024

Inverell Antique Motor Club, or IAMC as we are known, has been in existence for over 40 years. We had our beginnings in March 1979, when 18 local enthusiasts met under a willow tree in Richard Farrell's yard, and decided to form an "old car club for the Inverell district".

The fledgling club had its first outing to Copeton Dam in March 1979 and by the end of 1979 the club had 30 members, with 7 vehicles on Club Registration.

Today, IAMC has over 100 members, with 190 vehicles on Heritage Vehicle registration, plus many more on full registration.

Our Club members are motoring enthusiasts with a passion for preserving and enjoying motor vehicles from the past. We have a wide range of antique vehicles (veteran, vintage, post vintage and classic) cars, light trucks, and tractors.

As our name suggests, we are based at Inverell, part of the New England/Northern Tablelands region of New South Wales. We are located approximately 700km north-west of Sydney, or 450km south-west of Brisbane.

Our membership is drawn from the district surrounding Inverell, generally within a 70km radius of the town.
