Ezra (he/him) is excited to teach at JOI this year. He studies Dirt Work and Cloud Tectonics as methods of bringing ourselves closer to the earth and to each other.

The Jam on Orcas Island (JOI) is an annual 5-day Contact Improv intensive in a serene natural setting. JOI offers skills classes, open jams, Contemplative Dance Practice, community activities, and more. This jam is a very special event with a mission to make high-quality experiences accessible to Contact Improvisation dancers of all levels.
JOI is located on private land in the San Juan Islands and offers camping under starry skies, a spa area with hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge, beautiful gardens, catered meals, easy access to mountain lakes, hiking, and spectacular scenery.
