Another wonderful thread brought to life. Thank you John. I was not aware of these varieties.

Checked my Papua New Guinea covers and could only come up with one. 1992 90t on cover to USA. From looking at the earlier pricing lists I see that it is one of "common" ones, but now I have something else to look for.

There are a couple of members on this list that should look at the lots I sold them as I obviously did not check for these, if they did not already know.

A 90t Bird of Paradise paid the airmail rate from Papua New Guinea to Southampton, England:

The cover was posted 12 NO 94 and was franked with the July 1993 90t issue.

I picked up this cover for a very good price . Registered With Boroko Mail Exchange cancel on the reverse .Along with the K2 ship are 2 5t Loria Loriae dated July 1993
