There will be food and children's activities on the grounds of the hospital as well. A candelight vigil will be held after the run to recognize National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day of October 15.

About Kyleigh's GiftThe Run Walk will benefit the Kyleigh’s Gift fund, created by Rodger and Leann Weller after the passing of their daughter, Kyleigh Elizabeth, at the Liberty Hospital Birthing Center. The fund was started as a way to not only keep Kyleigh’s memory alive, but to recognize the loving care and support they have and continue to receive from the Birthing Center doctors, nurses and staff.

With generous donations, the Kyleigh’s Gift fund has provided the Birthing Center with micro-fleece SleepSack swaddles for all newborns since 2014. The SleepSack swaddle, a wearable blanket that replaces loose blankets in the crib that can interfere with breathing, encourages safe sleeping practices and helps prevent infant deaths. With the incredible success of last year's event, the fund has expanded into providing even more resources for Liberty Hospital families in need.
