Justice and love for Lesley

This is Lesley.
She is a beautiful, caring and sweet lady who is well known in Maidstone and loved by all she meets.

Despite autism and learning difficulties, she raised 3 amazing children and adores her granddaughter, and is the most honest, kind and loving woman you could ever meet.

Despite losing her husband who cared for her two years ago, Lesley has overcome so many odds to live independantly with support from her family. She has started to go out, socialise, and is a regular dancer at local oubs such as the Dog and Gun and The Old House at Home. There is not one person that has met her that could ever be mean to her. She lights up a room.

Yet Sunday 6th May Lesley was attacked near the County Hall. Mugged. All for £11. The worst part is, not satisfied with having their loot, they came back and punched her repeatedly, kicked her and left her there bleeding. Thankfully passers by found her and were able to call the police. This has shaken and knocked this poor lady for six, this amazing lady who wouldnt harm a fly.

Since this she has been inundated with love and flowers, and dare I say it, is slowly realising just how loved and cared for she is in the community.

Many have asked about raising a few funds for her after her ordeal, and after speaking with her family that would be amazing. She has always dreamed of visiting her sister in Australia  so maybe we can help a little towards it.
