Why this petition matters

Started by Lucan Chartier

We, the undersigned, hereby declare that we understand the Creation 7th Day & Adventist Church to be a separate and distinct organization from the Seventh-day Adventist Church denomination. We are not confused as to their respective identities.

We further demand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church immediately cease requesting contempt of court and the imprisonment of Creation Seventh Day Adventists for the use of the name of their religion and stop all such litigation.

We demand that the Seventh-day Adventist Church act in accordance with the principles of religious liberty and freedom of conscience, and we protest the use of civil power to coerce this or any group to cease using what they believe to be a God-given name.
