- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2014In working for large manufacturing, fortune 100 companies most of my career, my network has been essentially limited to that. We often joke when someone is active on LinkedIn, whether updating their profile, giving endorsements or joining a group, that "oh there's so and so looking to change jobs". And in fact, so many times I have avoided LinkedIn to not give that impression. It has been for me, mostly about maintaining my job history.
So I consider myself highly enlightened, and appreciate this fresh, if long overdue (for myself) perspective and knowledge. Never stop learning, especially in what you think you already know.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2010If you are new to using LinkedIn or social networking at all, this book will be very helpful to you. This book is a guide starting at the beginning, explaining LinkedIn and how it works, how it can benefit and how it can hurt you. I know from experience LinkedIn works to build connections, for networking, all resulting in getting your name out there and increasing your bottom line. If you are feeling as though LinkedIn isn't working for you, you should read this book. This book will help you set boundaries, understand the time commitment, what is involved and what you can gain from all that work.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2012I was generally disappointed in this book. Very generic in giving assistance to improve LinkedIn Skills. The case studies were good but the book seemed like it was slapped together without any continuity. The book wasn't helpful at the level I expected.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2010I had found out about Lewis Howes from Jeff Bullas's blog who is a huge Social Media Blogger expert based in Australia. Jeff referenced Lewis Howes as an expert in LinkedIn network. I immediately clicked on a link [...] and began digesting information. After couple of hours my professional profile on LinkedIn network went from nowhere to number 1. That was something I could not believe my eyes.
I have ordered the book right away and was eager to learn the rest of the secrets from his book. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to bring their professional networking to a next level. LinkedWorking is full of real life examples of people who start with nothing and ended up with multimillion dollar businesses. And these real examples prove that Rome was not built in one day. People who achieved success using LinkedIn worked very hard to be where they are at. Anyone can get there step by step. Consistency is the key. I will implement every single advice that was given in this book.
PS: I had a privilege to meet Lewis Howes in person. He is super nice and down to earth guy. Lewis is a huge fan of Thai Cuisine.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2015weak content. looks like the authors just wanted to write a "book" to say they were authors. I know Lewis Howes knows his LinkedIn stuff, and I was expecting expert tips. Not so. Book is disjointed and largely not applicable for people who really want a LI strategy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must buy for all LinkedIn users!!
This book is a great read and very simple to follow for anyone using LinkedIn. A lot of books of this type can be written just from the author's point of view and appear irrelevant to most people. However, the way this book is written by the authors makes it really simple to follow, easy to digest, and most importantly delivers results!
It is full of real world networking tips, relevant links to using them on LinkedIn, and then a mini case study of how someone has succeeded in each case.
Great value all round!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
Interesting reading. Easy to read and with good examples of implementation. Perhaps would be good also to analyze why not all people are able to make money out of Linkedin.

4.0 out of 5 stars Full of great ideas
This ebook provides lots of great ideas as to how use LinkedIn to your advantage. Its far too easy to sit behind a computer, collecting LinkedIn connections and not doing anything with them to add value to either yourself or to them. This book has lots of very simple suggestions as to how to start using LinkedIn to create value for your network, yourself and your organization - well worth a quick read.
