* Lobby Visits: If you haven't already, sign up on healthmarch.org, which is fed into SEIU to coordinate lobby visits between 2:30 to 5. We will be reaching out to both House and Senate with different messages according to the political situation of the moment. For those participating, there will be training in the Hart Building from the end of the press conference to about 2:30.  Folks of course are free to opt out entirely.
 
* In DC, we are all meeting @ Freedom Plaza at 11 a.m. Freedom Plaza is on Pennsylvania Avenue in b/w 13th and 14th Street (very close to the White House).  The rally should begin around that time.  The march will begin @ approximately 11:30a.m. and we will march down to Capitol Hill to the Visitor Center. Please note, the march is approximately 2.2. miles.  There will be a media event planned b/w 1-2p.m. with top Senators and House Members most likely addressing us.  Also, you can schedule your own legislative visits if you would like or join others between the times of 2-4:30p.m. We don't yet have details on the bus meet up time and events after that.
 
Schedule:
 
10:00 am – 11:00 am: Gather at White House (Freedom Plaza) on Pennsylvania Avenue between 13th and 14th street in NW DC.
 
11:00 am – 11:30 am: White House Rally. Members of Congress, doctors, nurses and other health professionals featured.
 
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: March down Pennsylvania Avenue to Hart Senate Building.
 
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Hart Senate Building - media event with Congressional Leadership*
 
2:00 - 4:30 pm: Visits with members of Congress or their staff
 
4:30 – 5:15 pm: Social Hour. Lounge 201 http://www.lounge201.com/  201 Massachusetts Avenue NE, Capitol Hill.

*  If you'd like to make homemade signs, there is an event this weekend from 2 - 6 PM this Saturday at McGee's pub, 240 W. 55th St., 3rd floor. (btwn Broadway and 8th Ave), which is a mega phonebank as well.
