My Story

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh (May the Peace, Mercy and the Blessings of Allah be upon you). Hi, my name is Mudasar “Muddy” Asghar and I established MA’s Fitness as a personal training company in 2014. I have been a fitness enthusiast for over 12 years and I have a wide-ranging pedagogy in fitness. My expertise are within resistance training and boxing.


I also completed my PGCE in teacher training so I learnt how to educate people of different abilities and dispositions. The way I see it, is that you have to educate people in the gym and not merely tell them what to do. This way, sooner or later my clients feel confident enough to train independently. I think this is our formula for success and thus why we receive so many positive reviews. Furthermore, we only use trialled and tested methods by looking at modern literature to aid our learning. So, rest assured you are in good hands!

There are many different ways to get fit and even more ways of staying fit. What is it that you want your body to do better? Do you want to take some weight off (and keep it off!) or get a better tone on your body? These programmes are split into two types. The first plans, (Slim 'N' Trim) are designed for beginners and intermediates, whereas the second plans (Lean 'N' Mean) comprise of intense workouts for advanced clients.

HOME SWEET HOME (HSH)

Tired of sitting all day in the office? Do your body a favour and get your blood pumping. Health and fitness is as much about what your body looks like on the outside as it is about how it functions on the inside. Many clients fear the gym, so these workouts will get your heart rate up from the comfort of your own home.

Six Week PT Plan
(single session)

£29.99

Our most popular training method! The Six Week PT Plan is designed for clients on a budget who want a personal, tailor-made plan with a Personal Trainer (PT) and feel confident in training independently. The workout plan is based on a chosen goal and normally consists of a single 60 minutes session with a PT followed by a six weeks programme given to you by the PT to train by yourself.

Six Week PT Plan
(double session)

£54.99

This plan follows the same procedure as the one above, except you have a double session or two separate sessions over the six weeks period. This is normally the case for intermediate or advanced clients.

​As a result, we may have to book you in for another session within the timeframe of your Six Week PT Plan. Or alternatively if time permits, we may continue into a double session of 120 minutes (whatever you prefer). Therefore, if the extra session is required, we charge a discount and we will try informing you in advance if your plan falls under this category.

Six Week E-PT Plan

£14.99

This plan follows the same procedure as the Six Week PT Plan, however without the face to face session with a PT. As the name suggests, it is mainly designed for online clients who live a long distance away from the PT. However, it may also be for clients who need a plan and are confident in training independently.

Please note: Not all Programme Goals are available as part of the 6 Week PT Plan due to the nature of the training protocols and have to be booked as Regular PT sessions (below).

Regular PT Sessions

Insha'Allah (God Willing), the quickest and most effective way of achieving your goal. Our process is simple. We will book an initial appointment with you to thoroughly assess your chosen goal, lifestyle habits and exercise history. Thereafter, we will monitor your diet and administrate an appropriate fitness programme. Therefore, through regular sessions with the PT, we can help accelerate your training results to achieve your goals quicker.

Body Transformation

Up to five PT sessions a week x 12 weeks

Not for the faint-hearted! As the name suggests, the body transformation regime is designed for clients who want to make a HUGE CHANGE to their bodies as quickly as possible. It follows the same procedure as the regular PT sessions, however in a stricter and more demanding format. ​​​


You may be expected to commit up to five sessions a week over a twelve week period. The trainer will decide, based upon your chosen goal and needs. Although challenging, it is designed for all abilities and levels. Like anything; the more you put in, the more you will gain.

Where are we Training?

Good news! We are not signed up with a specific fitness centre, so that you may choose the location of the PT session(s). Therefore, to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible support, we can help you train at home or in your local gym. We believe that this saves you from paying unnecessary gym fees, especially if you are wanting to train from home. Wherever it may be, Insha’Allah we will be ready to accommodate your needs.
