- Led the $17 million recovery after Hurricane Harvey (2017), which also resulted in schools being reopened only seven weeks after catastrophic damage district-wide
- ‘A’ rating on state accountability system the same school year that Hurricane Harvey caused extreme disruptions throughout the school year
- Acquired over $9 million in FEMA disaster recovery grants for PAISD
- Acquired over $500,000 in mental health and disaster recovery grants for PAISD
- Secured private grant money to fund 5 positions for the 2018-2019 school year to provide mental health and behavioral support to students
- Vice-Chairman of the Region 2 Superintendent’s RAC 2019-2020

- After an enrollment decline due primarily to higher cost of living, spearheaded a campaign since fall 2014 to attract families to live in PAISD boundaries and to encourage students in nearby communities to enroll as out-of-district transfer students. By November 2016, enrollment had increased by 13%.
