J.P. Osterman

About the author

"Everything we do ripples through time," J.P. believes. We leave ourselves and what we do behind as footsteps in life. As a Science Fiction author and Researcher, J.P. focuses on space travel, the precarious laws that govern space-time, and issues relating to space travel, exploration, and colonization of Mars and exoplanets. You can check out her website at: www.jposterman.com. J.P. most recently was a top finalist for the Patrick D. Smith award through the Brevard Library Foundation. In addition to the physics of long distance space travel, J.P. studied the necessary computational theories to control of the physics of space travel and extreme time/space compression: optical quantum computing, quantum communication, and AI Computer intelligence reaching well beyond the "Singularity," with organic, quantum-level processing and Neural Interface and Exchange (NIE). J.P. Osterman was a reader and writer throughout her youth. She graduated from University of San Diego with a B.A. in English (Emphasis in Writing) and later a Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University. In the early 1990s, she met Ray Bradbury who inspired her to write science fiction. "I felt that something strange and wonderful had happened to me because of my encounter with Mr. Bradbury, he gave me a future ... I began to write every day." She has written ten novels, mostly science fiction: from exploring Mars in her book Cosmic Rift, to space-folding to an ancient alien world in the following books: First Communication; Battlefield Matrix; and, Astrocity Sagan. She has won several awards, including the prestigious Rupert Hughes' Award at the seminal Maui Writers Conference for her sci-fi novel, The Matter Stream, which she is transforming into her Nelta Series. She won First Place for her play, The Man Next to Me, subsequently published in the San Diego Writer's Monthly magazine. Her new collection of short stories, Commuter Collection, is now available for your reading pleasure as well as her sci-fi short story collection, Pareidolia. J.P. has just published a daily devotional entitled, God Designed: 366 Days of Inspiration. God in your life, God for your life, and God for you! Her current project, Church With Jesus: Gospel Centered Worship is in progress. What would a church look like today with Jesus as pastor? It's for people seeking the closest connection to Christ's early church as their search for a church home.
