Introduction
Modest Street Fashion is a book of photographs that commemorates the emerging culture of modest street style which has erupted around the world. It is the first book to visually document this ever growing international trend that has exploded from the streets of Kuala Lumpur to the alleys of New York City. Profiling some of the top ‘Hijabistas’ this is a must-have inside look into a twenty-first-century genesis of a faith driven style.
This project known as Modest Street Fashion found it's beginnings capturing some of the top modest fashion bloggers of New York City in September 2013. Since then we have been able to cover London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Toronto, Houston, Miami, Washington D.C., Trinidad & Tobago, and currently looking to travel to Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait, Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Los Angeles.
Now we need your help!
We've been able to fund the project thus far through personal contributions, but to finish the project, and wrap up the last leg of locations, it requires support from everyone! The funds that are raised during this campaign will be going towards air fare, accommodation, and per diem. Every bit will be put forth to complete the project.
What your help means.
This project is the first of it's kind documenting a global trend known as Modest Street Fashion. And your contribution ensures that the likes of such a project will reach a world-wide audience. This is the opportunity to give Modesty a voice and potentially take ownership of the fashion world!
Other Ways You Can Help
