DEADLINE: BY THURSDAY, JANUARY 16th
Presidents and Rel/Eds in Newton

Please note: This is a more informal, USYer run kinnus. There will be parental supervision and local staff at every location, but there may not be NERUSY staff at each location. The kinnusim will begin at approximately 3:30pm on Friday and end at 6:30pm on Saturday night. To participate you must attend the entire kinnus.
Dear NERUSY Officer,
We're just about half way through the year––we're at the seventh inning stretch, the halftime show, whatever you want to call it. It's time for us to revisit some of the skills and values that we talked about at Leadership Convention this past fall and further grow our leadership abilities.
To achieve that goal, the NERUSY Executive Board will be holding separate kinnusim for each of the chapter board positions. At these kinnusim, you will not only gain valuable insight into your leadership position, but have the opportunity to get to know your overseeing officer and other chapter officers on a closer level. If you are a Regional Chairman who is not on chapter board, you should attend the kinnus of your overseeing officer. Regional Chairmen are expected to attend. If you are both a chapter officer and Regional Chairman, please attend the kinnus for your chapter office. If you are unable to do so, please call Amanda Hills at 617-699-6131.
The kinnus will begin on Friday the 24th at approximately 3:30/4:00pm and will conclude on Saturday night the 25th at 6:30pm. To attend, you must make a commitment to stay until the kinnus concludes after Shabbat on Saturday night. You will need to set up your own transportation. If you need directions, please call your overseeing officer. Nobody will be allowed to attend any of the kinnusim if they arrive any later than 4:30pm on Friday, when we will be starting Shabbat.
These kinnusim create an invaluable opportunity to grow as leaders, and with all of your help and participation, they can be a great a success. As I look toward the rest of the year and all that we can accomplish, I am counting on each of you to join in these kinnusim with that NERUSY zest that I know you all have in you. Whether this will be your 100th event or your first, I strongly encourage you to take part. If you have any questions or ideas for the kinnusim, please feel free to contact Amanda (617-699-6131 / president@nerusy.org) or your overseeing officer.
