Program length:

It will depend upon the program you choose. A Bachelor’s in Nutrition takes four years to complete. A master’s degree in nutrition takes two to three years.

Classes:

Classes will depend on your school and program, but bachelor’s programs generally include biology, biochemistry, cellular biology, cellular nutrition, dietetics, pediatric nutrition, among others. As for a master’s in nutrition, you can expect to take health research, biostatistics, holistic nutrition, nutritional science, and community nutrition.

Nutritionists have many options for specialization, and new areas have developed in recent years, such as Integrative Nutritionist, Sports Nutritionist, Weight Management Nutritionist, Holistic Nutritionist, Pediatric Nutritionist, and Clinical Nutritionist.
