ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Aima Ovai earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (BMEN) from the University of North Texas (UNT), During her time at UNT, she contributed to innovative projects, including the development of a wearable voice-modulating enhancer aimed at assisting individuals with damaged vocal cords.
Aima has accumulated over two years of experience in software engineering, specializing in both frontend and backend development. She currently serves as a Software Engineer at American Express, where she applies her technical expertise to develop and enhance digital solutions .
Demonstrating her leadership and innovation, Aima is the Founder of The TechBioverse, an initiative that merges technology and biomedical engineering to create impactful solutions. Her work in this domain reflects her commitment to advancing the intersection of healthcare and technology.
