Minority Leadership Scholars 2019-2020 Application
The Minority Leadership Scholars (MLS) program is an extension of the OCPS Office of Minority Achievement. The primary goal of MLS is to provide minority high school students with leadership and scholarship opportunities that are designed to promote marketable job-related skills, experiences and academic scholarship potential. This is achieved through active participation of school and community service projects, mentoring and academic support. Students will be expected to complete community service hours and various service projects as well as attending educational, mentoring and service seminars, workshops and events in and around the County. Students will also be involved in mentoring young minority students in our direct feeder middle snd elementary schools.
