It's music! It's good music! It's good music to play to! It's good music to play games to! One Life Left!

    Job done!
    7/10

(also track 8 has been nicely highlighted for me - Derek Williams)

I have received an advance preview copy of this album and one word sums it up.... WOW!

Amazing artist selection and some great tracks have been submitted.

    Highly recommended listening

While most of the CD is pretty good, track 8 stands out by a mile. The songwriting genius on Derek Williams' "Let's Play Video Games" is of a stunning quality. Much has been said of great songwriters such as Paul McCartney but he totally sucks in comparison. Derek's music is life alteringly brilliant. Even more astounding is that he produces something equally amazing each week for his segment on One Life Left. If you don't get one of the thousand CDs of this that are available (though only 939 left as I write this) your life will be dull and meaningless. Sorry but them's the facts.

Incredibly low level trash. Even the 'prettiness' of Hewitt gets one to believe she is shallow and a waste of attractiveness in real life.

Recently I have been really getting into video game music and so when I saw this I had to buy it.

All of the tracks are very good but a couple really stood out for me. The first track is fantastic and is a good sign of what's to come with the rest of the album. My favourite however has to be track 7: Oil Ocean. It is a very modern remake of the theme to Oil Ocean Zone from Sonic 2 which is probably my favourite game of all time.

Some of the tracks are instrumental and others are songs but all good in their own way.

Overall a really decent album which is just very good fun to listen to.

Hopefully it will inspire you to look for some indie games on the web which contain brilliant music similar to some of the tracks here. There are plenty of them out there.

    2.0 out of 5 stars .... !!!
Reviewed in Germany on 23 February 2002

I know it was a cheap buy but I couldn't even watch it here because it can only be viewed in UK. I was not aware of this.
