Editorial Reviews

Omnivoracious is a blog run by the books editors at Amazon.com. We aim to share our passion for the written word through news, reviews, interviews, and more. This is our space to talk books and publishing frankly and we welcome participation through comments. Please visit often or add us to your favorite RSS reader to keep up on the latest information. "Kindle blogs are fully downloaded onto your Kindle so you can read them even when you're not wirelessly connected. And unlike RSS readers which often only provide headlines, blogs on Kindle give you full text content and images, and are updated wirelessly throughout the day".

I am randomly being charged $0.99 for this blog which I never ordered and can't seem to cancel. Not only that, but I've never actually been able to read it. If it weren't for the charge, I wouldn't even know I was subscribed to it.

I was fortunate enough to have subscribed to this blog while it was free when I first got my Kindle.

I do enjoy some of the articles, it's a mish mash and ranges from excellent to poor. Overall it's generally pretty good, and there are several regular articles that are always enjoyable.

Personally, I wouldn't pay for this blog, especially as it's available for free online, but I think it is better value in terms of content and consistency than the Al Dente blog, which sometimes has lots of articles and other times is rather thin on the ground.

enjoyed this blog 5-6 yrs ago; got new Fire and discontinued it. About six mos ago decided to try it again. Didn't read fine print closely: 1. was charged 1.00 per day; we have lots of A charges including some daily/weekly so didn't focus until recently; 2. daily blog no longer showed up automatically in my Fire so I didn't even realize it was there/missing. Discontinued.

The other two reviewers indicated that this is a slimmed down version of Amazon Daily...the same reason made me give this blog 5-stars. As a voracious reader and busy Mom, it's like a breath of fresh air to read only pages of Amazon news about books and literature only. The news are reliable, up-to-date, and the reviews are very interesting. I've based my book purchases on many of these posts. Thank you editors of this blog! Keep the good works coming.

I have no idea how this blog site became a product I purchased or subscribed too. I knew nothing about it until I got a receipt for renewal and then in the same day an email saying the blog was ending.

I actually can't believe they charge for this now. And every month too. I did used to read it, but there's no way I'd actually pay for it. Cancelled my subscription following a payment request from them.
