Physicians and providers -

Join colleagues to hear how the Medical community is addressing the opioid epidemic in our area. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm and program starts at 7 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Butte Creek Country Club. The evening is free of charge thanks to Aegis funds granted to the Butte-Glenn Medical Society Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force and our coalition.

on Chronic Pain Management

on progress and opportunities

Objectives:
  • To define the difference between pain and suffering identify the three factors for health and addiction.
  • Define how Emergency Departments are point of entry for addiction treatment how the Bridge program has been implemented at the medical center.
  • Education on new prescribing guidelines and how to refer MAT patients for continuing rehabilitation
  • Review of the Community Health Assessment for Drug Induced Deaths and efforts made to achieve goals in Safe Rx, Academic Detailing and Naloxone Distribution
  • Provide an overview of the progress year over year showing most recent data
