Why this petition matters

Started by HUB Cycling

Your support is urgently needed to make Point Grey Cornwall safer for people of all ages and abilities.  If you want to live in a City where people can safely choose sustainable modes of transportation, a place where everyday people can cycle & walk comfortably and without fear, then please sign this petition to show your support for safety improvements along Point Grey Cornwall.

The volume and speed of vehicles travelling along this corridor has long created unsafe conditions for residents and visitors to the area, particularly those who walk along narrow sidewalks, cross at dangerous intersections and cycle in traffic.

The City has undertaken EXTENSIVE studies and consultations to create a family-friendly walking and cycling route that will allow more people to choose sustainable modes of transportation. They've worked hard to ensure that traffic and parking changes are manageable and even adapted their proposals to balance the needs of all road users.

The City is putting forward real solutions to help make Vancouver a safer, more sustainable and liveable place.  Show your support for these important changes today!
