About LLS
With your support, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will continue to fund groundbreaking research and ensure patients have access to treatment. LLS has three major pillars: research, patient access and policy advocacy.
Research
Since 2017, there have been a record-setting 47 blood cancer treatments approved by the FDA; LLS helped fund and develop 41 of them. Our work extends far beyond blood cancer, as LLS-funded research has led to the discoveries of treatments for several other cancers and diseases.
Patient Access to Care & Education
LLS has allocated over $2.3 million to Tennessee residents in the past year alone. This money helps cancer patients cover the cost of treatments, co-payments and travel. On top of patient access to life-saving healthcare, LLS is also the leading source of free educational materials and support groups. We also offer free one-on-one consultations regarding patients' treatment and financial options.
Policy Advocacy
LLS fights on behalf of cancer patients at both state and federal levels of government. We advocate for policies to ensure that all patients have access to affordable, top-of-the-line care.
We appreciate your support and would love to have you attend Nashville's Light The Night, LLS' largest event of the year. You can learn more about it here.
