Dear Fellow Pharmacists,

Greetings from the Philippine Pharmacists Association, Inc. (PPhA)!

This is to invite you to this year’s National Convention which will be held from 30 April to 4 May 2019 in

Davao City. Kindly take note that the first two days, April 30th – May 1st are allotted for the distribution of

kits and visits to trade exhibits and will be held at the Davao Convention and Trade Center, F. Torres St.

Davao City. The convention proper which will be from May 2nd until the 4th, will be held at the SMX

Convention Center, SM Lanang Premiere, Lanang, Davao City.

The theme for this year’s National Convention is “Unleash the Hero in You: Pharmacists Rising Beyond

Expectations” which highlights the pharmacists’ roles far beyond the provision of pharmaceutical care and

involvement in the pharmaceutical sciences. With the changing times and the shifting paradigm of pharmacy

practice, pharmacists adapt and adopt different roles where their value is appreciated by their patients,

clients, colleagues, and other health professionals. In this year’s convention, let us realize that we,

pharmacists, could be heroes in our chosen fields of practice

In addition, kindly take note of the following IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1. The name provided during registration should be the same as that on your PRC ID. This will be

the name that is reflected on your convention IDs and Certificates of Completion with CPD units.

Please make sure that you or your group coordinator encode your names, PRC numbers and

email addresses correctly during registration.

2. Certificates of Completion with CPD units will be sent thru e-mail (using the e-mail address you

used during the online registration or thru the group coordinator) to those who have completed

the sessions until the last day. Barcoding will be used to monitor daily attendance to the

sessions. DO NOT schedule your return flights/trips earlier than the end of the convention.

3. The Certificate of Appearance without CPD units is included in the Souvenir Program available for

all delegates.

4. Lunch-out invitations provided by companies are strongly discouraged.

5. ALL Chapter and Affiliate Presidents are required to attend the President’s Forum and Dinner.

Official invitation will be sent out as soon as the details are finalized.

6. Registration fees:

a. Regular Members PhP 5,500

b. Lifetime Members PhP 5,000

c. PPhA Membership fee PhP 500
