We are looking for LGBTQIA2S+ folks from a variety of experiences who live or have lived in Southern Oregon to create a community network of pen pals.
Anyone who would welcome the chance to write an email, letter, or message (or maybe a few), and get to know someone through a one-on-one exchange is encouraged to join! This is a chance to share some hopes and dreams, a chance to exchange some queer life stories and experiences, and to share what things are like right now for you.
We're creating this project with hopes of nurturing and connecting community within Southern Oregon, promoting intergenerational communication, creating queer networks, enabling our elders to share their wisdom with younger queers, and letters are cute and fun and we need that right now. We will prioritize (unless you indicate otherwise) matching people across generational lines to help connect our queer community and learn from each other.
Participants will be matched up with each other via email and are welcome to keep the connection virtual or switch to snail mail. You're not required to keep writing forever, up to you where it goes from there.

P.S. Did you know that quails are native to Southern Oregon (specifically the Mountain Quail) and are x-tremely cute with quality queer energy?
